Gold is not the past but also the possibility of gold

Jute is not only our golden past, but also the golden potential. Jute has been marketed since ancient times. Currently, entrepreneurs produce 20 types of jute products in Bangladesh. A few years ago, there was jute production in the country. As such, the variance in jute products increased by 5 percent. After environmental awareness and organic products, there is tremendous potential in the market for the purchase of jute bags, foodstuffs, composite materials, fine textiles, pulp and paper. According to the International Jute Study Group, the annual demand for shopping bags in the global market is 5 billion pesos, and the European Union has decided to reduce the use of plastic bags by 5 percent, which is very promising for our jute industry.

Due to the multiplicity of jute products and the lack of creative commercial knowledge, the huge potential of international and domestic jute markets is not being exploited. The government has already established six textile colleges and 12 textile institutes to develop this industry. Currently, Bangladesh produces 5 percent of the world’s total jute and exports 5 percent of the raw jute. To revive the jute market in the jute sector in Bangladesh and abroad, a “paper jute law” and “jute law” must be enacted. Four million people in Bangladesh are directly involved in the jute sector.

Due to the mandatory use of jute for packaging through the Jute Packaging Act, the government has increased production of jute in the country and jute manufacturers can sell it at a good price. Taka tablets 6 to 7 crores are imported annually in Bangladesh, and are mainly made of wood. However, jute produced in Bangladesh has the potential to produce records. If possible, a large amount of foreign currency will be provided in Bangladesh. The popularity of multi-purpose jute has crossed the country’s borders and became popular abroad. In this regard, the interests and needs of the Bangladeshi embassies located abroad are important. These embassies were very interested in presenting multi-purpose jute gifts to foreign guests on the eve of Bangladesh National Day.

The research revealed that polyethylene bags are banned in 12 countries in Asia. The demand for jute bags continues to increase in six of the four European countries from 20 to 22. In addition, demand for jute bags increases in the United Kingdom and the United States. Demand is constantly increasing in South African countries. Within the country, acceptance of organic jute products increases day by day with the creation of tourism, educational institutes, pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions, etc. Made of jute wallet, tie, various types of bags, flowers, pillowcases, and office accessories as the best gift! At the time of incorporation, 5 JDPC entrepreneurs appeared in the local market with only 20 multi-purpose jute products.

Officials are disappointed with the versatility of jute multi-purpose marketing.

In the early stages, there were sacks of jute. Due to its aesthetic beauty and ease of use, these bags are especially popular among women, especially fashion bags, shoes and jewelry. But due to the cheap price, availability and beauty of these products due to the industrial product, the local market for products made from natural fibers has not had the opportunity to expand. With the change of time, and the increased awareness of natural fibers, global promotion to encourage the use of natural fibers instead of synthetic products has given new hope for the multi-purpose use of the Bangladeshi gold fiber jute.

In this way, the jute of Bengal, as natural fibers, can demonstrate excellence in domestic and international markets. According to JDPC data, the sale of jute products per month of public-private couples is an average of Rs 4 lakh, although it is more than expected. A group of government offices purchase multi-purpose jute products. Because the arrangement for obtaining jute from the government office is not very consistent. Even government officials are not interested in buying jute products such as gifts for anyone separately.

Many people go out to buy and sell exhibits outside government officials. Surprisingly, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s directives to increase the use of multi-purpose jute products are not working well. The use of jute is not very noticeable in the various meetings and seminars of the three ministries and government departments. Therefore, concerned parties believe that to popularize jute, you must first use it in all government offices. According to JDPC sources, a letter was sent to all ministries and departments requesting them to purchase jute products from JDPC. However, sales are slowly increasing. Awards and gifts offered by ministries and departments at their JDPC meetings, seminars and events are available at reasonable prices.

Many JDPC officials have said file folders are the most used in any ministry or department. In the exhibition and sales center is available from Manvedev to Rs. The bag price is from 1 to 5 thousand rupees. Bags are provided for any occasion in the government office. But officials are not interested in jute bags. Speak to officials of the Ministry of Textile, and it is reported that there is Prime Minister directive for the use of multi-purpose jute products. In addition, the Ministry of Textiles and Jute message to each ministry states that JDPC has an exhibition and sales center to facilitate production of jute products. Since JDPC is a government corporation, multi-purpose jute products can be purchased directly according to PPR 25. There is also a VAT exemption for the purchased products. The letter urges ministries and departments to purchase and use the mixed-use JDPC products manufactured by JDPC Entrepreneurs through the use of organic jute products.
